Winter Storm has People Moving from Detroit – and Fast

Much of the Midwest has been feeling the brunt of a strong winter storm, and now Detroit will be seeing it as well. Detroit residents can expect to see 1-3 inches of snow to begin, with more anticipated over the weekend. It seems as though it’s safe to say, winter has arrived! This assuredly has many people not only reaching for their shovels, but for their computers to book the next flight for a warm holiday vacation.

Local residents shouldn’t worry too much, especially those considering moving from Detroit and its blustery snow in a jiffy. The winter storm is expected to taper by the end of the week leaving the aftereffects much more manageable. However, that’s not to say a warm vacation over the upcoming holiday weekend still doesn’t sound tempting.
